Landholders warned to keep longer watch on hazard on’super-spooky’, potentially deadly site at Olde Towne Garden
Residents who live in the complex at Northwich Avenue should brace themselves for large sections of the site could be knocked off their toes by the potentially dangerous conditions, despite a number of warning signs posted.
The council has decided that a number of its residents should be fitted with safety goggles and that residents should report any health problems to a member of staff, according to local media.

A council spokesperson told the Essex Evening Post: “We are very sorry that a number of our residents are ill following the weather in the past week. The residents have been notified that the safety goggles are necessary.”
In 2009 a number of the council’s residents were seriously ill after falling from high steps.
Residents who took ill in 2009, including residents of Northwich Avenue, have been advised to wear safety goggles.
